Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use our services. For self-drive rentals, you must hold a valid driver's license recognized in the Philippines and meet our identity-verification requirements.

We provide vehicle rental (self-drive and with-driver), airport transfers, city and province tours, and related transport services. Vehicle availability, rates, and inclusions are described on the site and confirmed at booking.

• Prices shown during booking are estimates. The final, authoritative price is calculated and confirmed by us at checkout.
• A booking is confirmed only once payment (or the required deposit) is received and you receive a confirmation with a booking reference.
• We may decline or cancel a booking where a vehicle becomes unavailable, verification fails, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

Payments are processed in Philippine Pesos (PHP) through our payment provider, PayMongo, which supports GCash, Maya, GrabPay, cards, and online banking. A refundable security deposit may be required. You are responsible for tolls, fuel (for self-drive), traffic violations, and other charges incurred during the rental, as applicable.

To protect customers and our fleet, we require valid government identification and (for self-drive) a driver's license, which our team reviews before release of a vehicle. We may refuse service if verification cannot be completed. See our Privacy Policy for how these documents are handled.

Cancellation and refund terms are presented at booking and may vary by vehicle and service. No-shows and late cancellations may forfeit the deposit or incur fees. Refunds, where due, are returned via the original payment method.

• Vehicles must be used lawfully and only by the approved driver(s); subleasing or unauthorized transfer is prohibited.
• Smoking, illegal activities, overloading, off-road misuse, and use under the influence of alcohol or drugs are prohibited.
• Vehicles must be returned at the agreed time, place, and condition, with fuel as agreed.
• You are responsible for traffic and parking violations incurred during your rental period.

You are responsible for loss of or damage to the vehicle and its accessories during your rental period, except for fair wear and tear or to the extent covered by applicable insurance. Any incident, accident, or theft must be reported to us and the proper authorities immediately.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our services and website are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim relating to a booking shall not exceed the amount you paid for that booking. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Philippine law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JPA Car Rental & Transport OPC, its owner, and staff from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of a vehicle, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Information about our Tourist Franchisee / fleet-partner program is for general guidance only and is not an offer or guarantee. Participation is subject to a separate written agreement, eligibility requirements, and applicable LTFRB inspection and Department of Tourism accreditation processes.

The JPA name, logo, and website content are owned by JPA Car Rental & Transport OPC or its licensors and may not be used without permission.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. The parties shall endeavor to resolve disputes amicably; failing that, the courts of Pasay City / Metro Manila shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights.
